I’d like to make special mention of tireless work of my boss Damed Bahadur oglu Imanov. He dedicated his entire conscious life to the sea, the job tied to it, more precisely, dedicated his life to this work.

After completing his military service, Damed Imanov threw himself into the depths of the sea in 1979 and lovingly became apprentice with a seaman. Perceiving marine science and proving himself, Damed Imanov moved up the career stairs. In 1996, he was the chief of Deep-sea route Department. His strong love for the work resulted in good progress. Damed Imanov worked as the deputy manager of Fleet Department of Kasmorneft. Further he held the positions of the deputy chief for operation, department manager, and deputy chief of the traffic safety department achieving successful results and steady growth of knowledge. And in 1999 he worked as captain. To improve his education he acquired the profession of economist in 1994. In spite of acquiring a new profession, love for the sea was driving him and so, he started his education at the Marine Academy. His profession, experience, craving for the sea led him to the post of the captain at Oil Fleet in 2007. At present Damed Bahadur oglu is the head of SOCAR Caspian Sea Oil Fleet Department of Absheron district. He also has great authority among his colleagues. During his activity within the team he created order and well coordination of the work.

Naturally, difficulties and concerns were not in vain. Damed Imanov was awarded more than 20 honourary rewards. In 2010, he was awarded honourary diploma “Inam” upon the order of Trade Union of Media Workers Presidium. For his further achievements he was honoured an international award of Ukraine and Russia – 1 degree order of “Cossack glory”. On the 90^th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the “Dede Gorgud” International Foundation honoured Damed Imanov with the national reward of “In the name of peace on earth”. This great personality is a philanthropist. Everyone in his international team is heard and understood. Despite of his status and regalia, Damed Imanov is very easy to communicate with. Owing to his perseverance, tireless work, love for profession, diligence and strength of character Damed Bahadur oglu Imanov achieved great results. I hope such achievements will go on in his noble and honourable activity. Azerbaijan feels proud of its sons who turned to the kindness and altruism.
